The Wnuk project has been realised from photographs taken at Zadni Staw (Black Pond) in Dolina Pięciu Stawów Polskich (Valley of the Five Polish Lakes). According to verbal accounts, Marian Wnuk made his ephemeral work in the 1930s in that very same place. It did not survive harsh mountain conditions and no photographs documenting the work have been preserved. The lack of knowledge on the work by Marian Wnuk was the motivation for another expedition. Igor Omulecki visited Zadni Staw (Black Pond) to gather materials for illusory photomontages that multiply and transform the view one can see from there.
